Lists that know what is safe to send.
A list on SendTo knows every subscriber’s fields and activity, what verification found, what has been suppressed and why, and how healthy it is right now. The importer maps any spreadsheet, reuses your fields and resumes if it is interrupted. Suppression is platform-wide: an address that bounced or complained anywhere is never sent to again, by anyone.
The list is where a client’s trust in you is won or lost.
A client’s list is the most valuable thing they will hand you. It is also the thing they understand least. They know roughly how many people are on it; they do not know how many of those addresses still exist, how many have already complained about somebody else’s mail, or why the number on your dashboard differs from the one on their spreadsheet.
So a list on SendTo is designed to answer those questions before they are asked. Every subscriber record shows its fields and its activity. The Clean tab shows verification results with reasons. The Health tab shows bounces, complaints and engagement over time. Settings hold the decisions — double opt-in, unsubscribe behaviour, fields — in one place.
And the importer is built for real client data: files with odd headers, fields that already exist under a slightly different name, uploads that time out on hotel wifi. It maps, it reuses, and it resumes.
An importer that respects your fields
Upload a file and the wizard maps every column to a field. If a field already exists — First name, Last visit, Plan — it is reused, never recreated under a new name. If the upload is interrupted, it resumes where it stopped. Verification starts as the import runs, so the Clean tab is filling in before the file has finished loading.
- Column-to-field mapping with existing fields reused
- Resumable uploads
- Verification starts during import
Every subscriber, in full
Open a subscriber and see their fields, the campaigns they received, what they opened and clicked, whether those opens were human, and their verification and suppression state. Custom fields appear in the campaign editor as merge fields — a “Last visit” column from a spreadsheet is a personalisation in the next campaign.
- Fields, activity and state on one record
- Custom fields as merge fields
- Human and automated activity distinguished
Suppression that protects everyone
An address that hard-bounces or complains is suppressed across the whole platform — every list, every client — because a receiver does not care which client sent the message that bounced. Unsubscribes are honoured per brand, in one click, from a signed link that cannot be forged or guessed.
- Bounces and complaints suppressed platform-wide
- One-click unsubscribe, per brand
- Signed unsubscribe links
Bring the spreadsheet. Leave with a list a client understands.
Client data, handled without a project
The worst spreadsheet you have ever seen imports, maps and verifies in one pass. Onboarding stays a same-day job.
Personalisation without a developer
The fields in their file become merge fields in the next campaign. No mapping document, no ticket.
Protection the client never knew they needed
Platform-wide suppression means their domains are never spent on addresses already proven dead or hostile.
Our clients send us the worst spreadsheets you have ever seen. The importer just deals with them.
Questions
How do I import a list?
Upload a CSV. The wizard maps columns to fields, reuses existing fields, creates new ones on request, resumes if interrupted and verifies addresses as it goes.
What happens to duplicates?
An address appears once per list. Re-importing a file updates existing records rather than creating duplicates.
How does one-click unsubscribe work?
Every message carries a signed unsubscribe link. One click removes the recipient from that brand’s mail — no login, no confirmation page to abandon, no reason to click “report spam” instead.
Can I export a list?
Yes, once platform access is activated. Exports respect suppression state so a client never re-imports addresses that should not be sent to.
Bring the spreadsheet. Leave with a list.
