Forms that build lists the right way.
Every list needs a front door. SendTo’s forms are hosted on the client’s sending domain or embedded on their site, styled by the brand preset, protected against bots, and confirmed by email — so every address that joins belongs to a person who said yes twice.

A list built by a form is a list you can defend — to a receiver and to a client.
There are two ways an address gets onto a list: someone imports it, or someone asks to be on it. The second kind is worth more to everyone. A subscriber who confirmed by email wanted the mail, and a list of those people opens, does not bounce and does not complain. Receivers can tell.
So forms on SendTo do one job: put people who asked onto a list, correctly. They are protected against automated signups — a form with no bot protection fills a list with addresses that were never real. They confirm by email, so a typo or a prank never becomes a subscriber. And they write to the list’s fields, so “First name” on the form is “First name” in the next campaign.
Landing pages are a different tool for a different job — carrying a campaign’s offer on the domain that sent it. Forms build the audience; landing pages convert it.
Hosted on the client’s domain, or embedded
Every form has a hosted page on the client’s sending domain — the same brand, the same trust — and an embed for their website. Both write to the same list. Style follows the brand preset, so a form looks like the client made it.
- Hosted page on the sending domain
- Embed code for the client’s site
- Brand preset applied automatically

Double opt-in and bot protection
A submission triggers a confirmation email from the client’s sending domain. Only a confirmed address joins the list. Automated submissions are stopped before they get that far.
- Confirmation email from the sending domain
- Only confirmed addresses join
- Automated signups blocked
Fields that match the list
Map form fields to list fields when you build the form. Existing fields are reused. A subscriber who signed up through a form has the same record shape as one who was imported — and both are available as merge fields in the campaign editor.
- Form fields mapped to list fields
- Existing fields reused
- Ready for personalisation immediately
Growing lists are the reason clients stay. Now they grow on their own.
A list that grows without you
A form on the site and a hosted page to link from anywhere. Every month the client’s audience is bigger, and the platform did it.
A list that stays clean
Double opt-in and bot protection mean growth never arrives with bounces and complaints attached.
A form that looks like the client
Their brand preset styles every form. Nothing on the page suggests a third party.
We stopped arguing with clients about whether double opt-in “loses” subscribers. It loses the ones who were never going to open.
Questions
Is double opt-in mandatory?
It is the default, and it is what makes a form-built list the best list a client can have. The confirmation email is sent from the client’s sending domain.
Where are forms hosted?
On the client’s sending domain, with an embed for their own website. Both write to the same list.
What about bots and fake signups?
Automated submissions are blocked before the confirmation email is sent, and an address that never confirms never joins the list.
Can I use a landing page as a form?
Landing pages carry campaigns and can collect a response. Forms build lists. Use the right one for the job and both stay simple.
